 Let's be honest with ourselves, right now the Sabres are a rag tag bunch of misfits who are lucky to break off a win every once in awhile. I mean if you look at this roster, I'd say more than a few wouldn't even make another roster in the NHL. For fucks sake right now the Sabres have no healthy goalie on the main roster. There may be a light at the end of this shit filled tunnel. Believe it or not the Sabres seem to have a pretty good pipeline of prospects to be excited about. Let's take a look at what we have to be happy about for once as Sabres fans.
FORWARDS: Jack Quinn(RW): Jack Quinn just scored his first ever NHL goal last week and it was an absolute snipe. Right now Quinn is in the AHL with Rochester and is lighting it up. Quinn is 9th in scoring with 35 points in just 24 games. The 20 year old Canadian was Buffalo's 8th overall pick in the 2020 draft and just keeps getting better every year. Olivier Nadeau(RW): Nadeau was the Sabres 97th overall pick in the 4th round of the 2021 draft. He is currently playing in the QMJHL for the Shawnigian Cataractes where he leads them in points. Nadeau has 45 points (17G 28A) in just 30 games. Nadeua may take a bit longer than the rest to play in the league but god damn he's exciting to watch. J.J Peterka(W/C): Peterka, like Jack Quinn is currently tearing up the AHL with the Rochester Americans. With 30 points in 29 games Peterka and Quinn on a line have been absolutely electric for Rock City in the AHL. The German born Peterka made his NHL debut alongside Quinn and I gotta say I love the drive of this kid, he could most definitely be a center piece of this team for years to come. Peyton Krebs(C): Krebs came over in the Jack Eichel trade I have to say, I fuckin love this kid. Krebs is coming off a big 2 goal, 3 point night. Krebs was in the AHL centering a line with Peterka and Quinn. Who knows? That could be our line of the future. DEFENSEMAN: Owen Power: Owen Power was the #1 overall pick in the 2021 NHL draft out of Michigan University and this kid is an absolute hoss. The 19 year old Canadian born defenseman is 6'6 and 220lbs and sure as shit can run the point on power play. Power has 26 points (3G 23A) in just 24 games for the Wolverines. Power recorded a hat trick in the short lived World Juniors tournament against the Czech Republic. His next step is the Beijing Olympics where he will be playing for team Canada and now the world can see truly how good he is. Oskari Laaksonen: The 22 year old Fin is a great puck moving defenseman, who should be another asset on the power play when the time comes. He's currently in Rochester where he has 23 points (3G 20A) in 31 games. Ryan Johnson: Ryan Johnson was at one point the only bright spot we had left from the Ryan O'Reily trade until the emergence of Tage Thompson. Johnson is a speedy puck moving d-man who currently plays for the University of Minnesota. He hasn't had the greatest season this year for the Gophers tallying just 14 points (2G 12A) in 27 games but this kid has huge upside. He's a Junior so it's going to be interesting to see what his next move is. GOALTENDERS: Devon Levi: Levi is quite possibly the best goaltender in the entire NCAA. The Sabres acquired Levi in the trade that sent Sam Reinhart to the Florida Panthers, he's having a tremendous season for Northeastern and seems to get better every game. Levi has a 1.55GAA with a .948SV%, this kid is incredible and has so much potential. He's been the star of many Canadian junior teams and has shined at many of the tournaments he's been in for team Canada. Look for him to sign his entry level contract with the Sabres after this season, Erik Portillo: The Swedish national playing for the loaded University of Michigan has also shined this year for one of the top teams in college hockey. The 21 year old was the Sabres 3rd round pick back in 2019 and has a 2.25GAA with a .924SV%. It's safe to say he's shown why many people have called him one of the best goalies in the country. OTHERS TO WATCH OUT FOR: Tyson Kozak(C, Portland Winterhawks, WHL) Alexander Kisakov(LW, Dynamo Moskva, KHL) Josh Bloom(LW, Saginaw Spirit, OHL) Mattias Samuelsson(D, Rochester Americans, AHL) Jacob Bryson(D, Rochester Americans, AHL) Casey Fitzgerald(D, Rochester Americans, AHL) Vasili Glotov(C, HK Sochi, KHL) The future seems bright for us in Buffalo but rest assure the Pegulas will try their damndest to fuck it all up

Patrick Mahomes girlfriend Brittany Matthews is just addicted to making herself look dumb....1/28/2022  Patrick Mahomes is the highest paid player in NFL history, there has to be some way he can pull his girl a side and tell her to stop, right? I just wrote about about Mahomes insufferable girlfriend and brother, at that point I'm not sure things could have gotten much worse anddddd then came yesterday. Brittany Matthews was on TMZ, Matthews stated that she was constantly being attacked and bullied on social medai outlets. Matthews was quoted on TMZ sayin this: "I do receive a lot of hate on a daily basis on social media and I know so so so many other people do as well," Matthews said. That's why I'm just proud to partner with this company and get behind this cause and hopefully push everything into the right direction and start spreading some more positivity on all of these platforms. Me and my team have decided to try to turn this buzz into something and something good for the Kansas City community, We have decided that part of the proceeds from the sales of this shirt are gonna go to Red Card KC which is a local charity here in Kansas City that works to prevent bullying." Now, is it insanely, ridiculously ,wildly and superbly idiotic for Matthews to come out and say she is being bullied? Yes, 100%. But on the other hand your thinking, Ok cool, this girl may suck and sure she may be one of the worst people god has every created but.....she's doing something sort of cool and donating to an anti-bullying charity. So you must be thinking to yourself "Yeah she's awful but it's a great charity and she must have a really inspiring saying on these shirts she's selling" YUP......NOPPPPPPPPEE! She decided to go with this fuckin gem below....  How fuckin self deluded and conceited do you have to be? Can you imagine? There are kids and adults being bullied all over this country, for everything from being overweight, mentally challenged, sexual orientation, truly awful things to have to endure at any phase of life. Then you got this fuckin girl, she thinks she's being bullied, she's not being bullied. People are just calling her out for being an asshole and this move right here makes her look like even more of an asshole, if that was even possible. Instead of putting an inspiring message on a t-shirt to show support for anti-bullying, you make a fucking shirt that says "Team Brittany", honestly what a fucking piece of shit. It's true I supposed that opposites attract because Patrick Mahomes is such a chill down to earth guy and his girlfriend is honestly the biggest piece of shit and an absolute cancer to Mahomes. Think about it? Like I said in my earlier blog, Patrick Mahomes girlfriend and brother are the only logical reason any would hate that guy. Oh and this whole thing, didn't help Matthews cause, she's getting dragged worse than ever online. But in all seriousness, just fucking stop. It's to the point it's becoming embarrassing. No one wants a fucking team Brittany shirt, literally ever. Also can we please acknowledge the fact that she's donating "part of the proceeds" to charity? Your boyfriend just signed a $450 million contract, just donate all the god damn proceeds. Patrick please run....run fast
 I can't, I just fucking can't with this god damn team anymore. I do not think it's a stretch in saying they are the most poorly run organization in the NFL. Ever since David Tepper has bought the team after the NFL forced Jerry Richardson to sell the team, it has been just one shit move after another. First we let go of Ron Rivera, who wasn't having the best season at the time......but the guy took us to a Super bowl, won 4 division titles and is just a good dude. Then we hire unproven Matt Rhule to a 7 year contract for $62 million, some proven coaches don't get that much. Then they sign young stud offensive coordinator Joe Brady from the the National Champions of LSU. I loved this hire to be honest but then we gave Joe Brady no tools to work with at all. What the fuck is an offensive coordinator supposed to do when you give him Teddy Bridgewater, Sam Darnold and Cam Newtown(who is clearly at the end of his career). Let's rewind for a second and point out the fact that we traded for Sam Darnold.....not signed him because he was a free agent but gave up draft picks to get Sam fucking Darnold. Darnold has a career passer rating of just over 70 and has thrown 54 touchdowns and 52 interceptions in his first 4 seasons. To say the least, Darnold is not good....not good at all. So then we fire Joe Brady, who I'm assuming will probably become a head coach in the NFL one day and shove it right up Carolina's ass at some point. Then we sign Cam Newton, sure it was cool for nostalgia purposes but we all knew it wasn't going to be the 2015 MVP Cam that we all fell in love with. Cam was just bad after his first jolt of energy to the starting roster, he had 4 passing TD'S and 5 interceptions. To be honest it was and is sad seeing Cam end his career this way, it's a tough look for the former MVP. Before I get to Matt Rhule, who I feel is the biggest problem with this team, first let me talk about our owner David Tepper. Jerry Richardson was a rich football guy who owned a football team and now David Tepper is just a rich guy who owns a football team. The problem with Tepper is he's a fan first and doesn't actually know the first thing about football and it shows day in and day out. It came out that he was "unhappy and embarrassed" about signing Rhule to a 7 year deal, then a month later he stated he had tremendous support for Rhule. What the fuck are we doing? Honestly what are we doing?! Matt Rhule has blamed everyone else for the failure of this team, except himself. He had continually thrown Cam Newton under the bus, presser after presser. He's fired multiple coaches and said things like "It wasn't working and we had to make a change". We hired Rhule without a general manager being in place yet, which was a bad start to begin with. Again like I stated he throws players under the bus every week and can never just admit that he was the one who fucked up......it's always everyone else's fault but Matt Rhule. Now we get to the hiring of Ben McAdoo, who has been a tremendous bust as a coach and offensive coordinator, especially during his time in New York. I'm not sure, maybe McAdoo will just be another scapegoat for Rhule when the offense still can't get going. The thing is this team has talent on both sides of the ball, sure they're not close to winning a Super Bowl anytime soon but shit the compete level should be better than this. This team should really be blown up started with the head coach then maybe finally going out and getting a real NFL QB. I don't know what the next move is for the Panthers but it looks like things are going to get much worse before it gets any better. So buckle up panthers fans, it's gonna be one hell of a shitty ride.  Let's ne honest with ourselves.....none of us hate Patrick Mahomes, he's one of the best QB's in the league and an overall good dude, we hate the company he keeps. His obnoxious fiance and his obnoxious brother. Brittany Matthews and Jackson Mahomes are perhaps the worst people on the planet....mind you a planet that included Kim Jong Un, Larry Nassar, Ghislaine Maxwell and people who talk on speaker phone in public. First was the emergence of Brittney, Jesus Christ almighty.....it started with her just being an absolute annoying shithead, with her in YouTube video after YouTube video just shouting in a suite at every fucking Chiefs game about Patrick and to "stop doubting him". First off she's a delusional fuck, no one has every doubted this dude since he started playing in the NFL, second off....she sucks. Her videos are literally her and her annoying ass friends in the club suites screeching like a complete fuck head. But in her defense, she's that girlfriend....if she's on your team you lover her, if she's not? you hate her. She's not on my team.....I wouldn't say I hater her but I definitely don't not hate her. Yeah that's how I phrased it....
Now we come to Patrick's little brother Jackson. This kid is an absolute fuckhead. I honestly don't think there is any one in this world that even likes this kid, his family has to be at least embarrassed of him. The only one that has to get along with him is Brittany, due to the fact they are equally just awful people. This dude is pouring shit on Ravens fans, being creepy with female TikTokers, posting scathing reviews about local establishments, dancing on Sean Taylor's memorial, he's a fucking clown. It's to the point where he is such a distraction that Patrick even has to answer questions about this chode during his post game pressers. I hate this word so much, but this kid is the the epitome of the word "cringe". Just go look up videos of him on YouTube or TikTok......it's an absolute treasure trove of hell. Can you fucking imagine? Your dad was a major league pitcher, your brother is the best QB in the NFL and your just some awkward, silver spoon, no talent ass clown. Picture your brother just winning a Super Bowl and your dumbass is doing. He's just an asshole little prick, after the Sean Taylor incident he said "He didn't know he wasn't supposed to be in that area".....yeah the roped of square around the number 21 wasn't a dead giveaway you little fuck. Now I know a lot of people are calling him "Jackson Mahomo", which I do not condone making fun of someone for their sexual preference....that's not cool but you can make fun of him for being an absolute waste to society. He thinks he's a lot more important that he is and I hope he won't be the down fall to Patrick's career. Now, unfortunately for Patrick? Jackson is his blood and you can't change that. You can sure as shit distance your self from this cancerous fuck of a brother. Just look at Aaron Rodgers, he hates his family and he's doing just fine, unless it's the playoffs. As for Brittany, as Michael Scott once said "BFD engaged aint married" aka he can get the fuck away from her whenever he wants, so run Patrick run away.  Dear Bills Mafia, I truly am gutted for you and your organization. I'm a Carolina Panthers fan so I know a lot about failure and heartache......but you guys have endured too much heart ache for far too long. I am by no means a Bills fan but when Gabriel Davis had his 4th TD catch to take the lead with .13 seconds left? I went crazy like it was my team, which is a strange feeling for me because I hate most things outside of my teams.....I even hate most of my teams. The Bills should have won this game and there is no disputing that statement. Now don't get me wrong, some of you members of Bills Mafia are the most insufferable people I have ever unfortunately met, then there are some of you who are the life blood of our nation. You are Sons, Daughters, Fathers, Mothers......you do not deserve this. But fuckin honestly how good is Josh Allen? I am completely gutted for that kid, he did everything right and played a perfect game and somehow the play calling let you down yet again. Whether it be the Scott Norwood miss, The Music City Miracle and now this? No, no, no.....that's too god damn much. Fuck and I feel sorry for the poor bastards who are Bills and Sabres fans that's just too much hurt for one person to take. Yes, the OT rules are shit and they've been shit in the NFL for a long time.....that's not why you lost this game. After Gabriel Davis caught the go ahead touchdown with 13 seconds left, every move the coaching staff made was baffling. First off, they have to at least squib that kickoff even if it takes an extra 3-4 seconds off the clock, that only gives Mahomes maybe one chance to get the Chiefs into field goal range. The defensive play calling on the next two plays was at best horrendous. On the first pass to Hill, the Bills dropped about 8 guys and played 15-20 yards back to protect the end zone, which is just a fuckin wild move at that spot on the field. The second play, you rush four guys when you know Mahomes needs to get rid of this ball quick, they needed to put some kind of heat on Mahomes to have him extend the play and run some clock. I'm not sure who lost this game for you guys, maybe it was Leslie Frazier? Maybe it was the defense in general? Maybe it was some crazy football god we don't even know about that literally just hates the Bills and his sole purpose in life is to give Bills fans misery. There are some positives to look at......Josh Allen is your fuckin QB for a long time and could honestly be the best QB in the NFL. With the emergence of Gabriel Davis, he and Stefon Diggs could be one of the best 1-2 punches in the NFL. You guys are right there, right there to the title.....keep the faith and endure the heart ache, because it will taste that much sweeter when you get to the top and taste glory. I wouldn't know all my teams are absolute shit and they will be that way for a long long time. I digress......in closing I am sorry for the heart ache your feeling right now Bills Mafia.....no one deserves this kind of pain.....unless you're a Michigan fan. The main and the co-main events were fights I was definitely looking forward to watching since they were announced. Francis Ngannou v's Cyril Gane was truly supposed to be a heavyweight battle, one that we've never seen before. Brandon Moreno v's Deiveson Figueiredo was a trilogy that every MMA fan wanted to see, to me? Both of them fell sort of flat....
Main Event: Francis Ngannou v's Cyril Gane (Heavyweight Title) Like I said, this fight was supposed to be a true battle of heavyweight giants, it was not that. Gane didn't offer much in terms of out put on the feet, didn't really try taking Ngannou to the ground and honestly, Gane didn't do much of anything. I'm not sure if Gane was afraid of Francis's power or what it was but he was very hesitant to pull the trigger on just about anything.....outside of the spinning kicks to the body or the occasional head kick. Francis showed he has become a more well rounded fighter by taking Gane down 5 times and controlling almost all of the work on the ground. Ngannou's contract is up but that doesn't mean this will be his last fight in the UFC. Ngannou beat Gane by unanimous decision and rightfully so. Who's next for Francis? Sounds like it might be Jon Jones, which is a fight I will for sure be in the corner of Predator. Co-Main Event: Brandon Moreno v's Deiveson Figueiredo (Flyweight Title) The flyweight trilogy we've all been waiting for. Ever since Moreno got the finish in their last fight and their first fight ended in a draw, we all wanted to see this trilogy. Personally I think it delivered, it was a great back and forth fight. Figuerido knocked Moreno down a couple of times and that seemed to be the difference in the fight. It was one of those fights no matter who they gave it to, I probably could have came up with a reason to agree with the decision. Moreno, oddly enough seemed to have the power advantage in this fight, which is something I never thought I would say against Figueiredo. But, in the end Figueiredo re-claimed his flyweight strap by unanimous decision over Brandon Moreno. What's next for Figueiredo? Who knows honestly. To me it should be Moreno again, in their trilogy the record is 1-1-1......I think you need to run this back for the 4th and final time. The only other option in my opinion would be Askar Askarov or Kai-Kara France......but those two are scheduled to face off sometime in March. So let's run it back..... Not many other huge notable fights, for me at least on this card to talk about or run down. Michel Pereira defeated Andre Fialho by unanimous decision, Said Nurmagomedov defeated Cody Stamann in just 47 seconds by guillotine, and Michael Morales defeated Trevin Giles by TKO to kick off the main card. The next card for the UFC is February 5th with the Main Event of Jack Hermansson v's Sean Strickland. Not many fights have even been announced for this card. The main event should be a good one, Sean Strickland is riding a 5 fight win streak and Jack Hermansson is trying to get back on track after his win over Edmen Shahbazyan. You never know what's going to happen in a Sean Strickland fight.....yeah the same Sean Strickland who said he's always wanted to murder someone. No, really he's said that....  Holy shit, did this weekend's first two games make up for the shit fest of the first weekend of NFL playoff games. Both #1 seeds play and both #1 seeds go down, in dramatic fashion. First we had Cincy v's Tennessee, both offense's didn't look great. Which sounds funny tp say considering Joe Burrow threw for almost 400 yards. But Burrow throwing for 400 yards is incredible, especially the fact that he had no time to throw the ball and got sacked like 9 times. Joe Burrow showed all of his toughness in this game, in fact this fucking guy might be one of the toughest mother fuckers in the league who plays under center. On the other side of the ball Ryan Tannehill didn't seem to get going at any point in the game. Tannehill threw for just over 200 yards and 3 picks, including a ridiculous pick from Bengals corner Mike Hilton who came on a corner blitz to tip the ball to himself and pick it off. But in the 4th quarter the Titans have the ball, all squared 16-16 and Tannehill throws yet another back breaking interception(this one wasn't on him). The Bengals go down the field to line up an 52 yard field for the rookie kicker Evan McPherson. The son of a bitch was warming up on the sideline when Joe Burrow overheard him say "well I guess we're going to the AFC championship".....the absolute balls on this kid. He literally is the embodiment of the Randy Marsh meme of him carrying his balls in a wheelbarrow around town. Then the kid comes in and drills the 52 yard field goal to walk out of Tennessee with the win and put Cincy in the AFC title game. Burrow, McPherson......balls, man......balls. How the Packers find a way to screw shit up year after year after year is just amazing to me at this point. They were the #1 seed in the NFC again, it seemed like Aaron Rodgers was on a complete "eff you" tour this entire season. Then once again the playoffs hit andddd they suck again. The fact the 49ers were even in this game was a complete miracle. Their offense couldn't get anything at all going and to be honest it seemed liked the packers were going to absolutely shit pump them from the opening whistle. But then the 49ers defense settled in and it became a game of great defense (or real bad offenses). San Francisco didn't even have an offensive touchdown, which is an embarrassing look for the Pack. The only touchdown the 49ers had was on a blocked punt recovery. The Packers had a field goal blocked and a punt blocked, the put it lightly it was a real shit show of a special teams performance for Green Bay. Once again though, it was a kicker with enormous balls that shined the brightest in this game. We should have known how awesome Robbie Gould was when he was practicing kicks, during the Packers team introductions. I mean, right there.....the Packers players were right there when Gould was booting 50 yarders in their faces. Again, with no time left for a walk off 49ers win, Gould lines up and absolutely drills a 45 yard field to send the Niners into the NFC championship game. Then the audio comes out of Jimmy G hugging Gould while yelling "Fuck the Packers". Not sure what's going to happen to Aaron Rodgers now, but this could be the story of his career....the guy that couldn't get it done in the playoffs. |
