Grading the 2022 Royal Rumble

          Man......mannnnnnnn! WWE keeps making it harder every fucking day to watch their product. It's becoming so predictable and it's literally the same recycled bullshit year after year after year, Royal Rumble used to be my favorite event to watch every year, now it's just shit, it's all shit. Even when I didn't  watch wrestling I would always tune in to the Rumble, but now it's like even if I'm not watching I can still fucking predict what's going to happen. I'll run this down and grade it but at this stage of the game what the fuck is the point.

Seth Rollins defeats Roman Reigns(C) Via DQ
          Now this match was actually really fucking good. First off Rollins went full heel and came out to the shield theme and dressed in his shield gear, so it started out pretty awesome. A lot of back and forth action with both dudes getting huge spots in the match. Rollins looked great and Reigns was great like always. These guys have had a ton of match and they really keep getting better, mainly due to the fact Reigns has gotten so much better in ring over the last 3 years. But in typical WWE fashion they had to end it very very....very poorly. Reigns had Rollins in a guillotine choke, when Rollins grabbed the rope Reigns refused to let go which resulted in a DQ. Reigns then proceeded beat the fuck out of Rollins with a chair and that was it....I'm not sure what the end game is here.

GRADE: B-(would have been a B+ but the ending was shit)


Ronda Rousey wins the womens Royal Rumble
          I don't know man, I just don't know. I don't hate the fact that Rousey won the Rumble, I just hate Ronda Rousey. If WWE handles her correctly and doesn't fuck it up like they did with her first run this could be a good play for them. But can we talk about all the shitty "Legends" that came back? The list is pretty fucking bad, we got Kelly Kelly, Cameron, Alicia Fox, Michelle McCool, Summer Rae and so much more shit. This wasn't even the worst Royal Rumble of the night. It ended with Rousey eliminating Charlotte to win the match. I think the thing that pissed me off was how some of the actual good wrestlers didn't get a chance to shine. Sasha Banks just kind of got eliminated by Queen Zelina, who they have to stop pushing because she's fucking terrible. The Bellas? Who need to just go away forever because they're just terrible and Brie is at best a liability in the ring just cleaned house at one point, like what the fuck are we doing? I don't know the WWE sucks....

GRADE: C+


Becky Lynch(C) defeats Doudrop
          This match wasn't the worst, Doudrop actually showed out better than I thought she would. Let's be honest though at no point did anyone think she would beat Lynch in this match so for it to be a half way decent match compared to the rest of the card? I guess it should be considered a win for the WWE that night.

GRADE: C+


Bobby Lashley defeats Brock Lesnar(C)
          Paul Heyman turned on Brock Lesnar again and sided with Roman Reigns again. Same recycled bullshit, like I said. Again this match wasn't that bad it was actually pretty decent but for fucks sake can we do something different? Maybe a new fucking idea? Again, I don't know what the hell the end game is here or what's next, well I mean after the Royal Rumble I guess I know the end game now. Fuckin A though when I watch this shit now it's like I'm watching WWE from 2006, c'mon for Christ sakes.

GRADE: B


Edge and Beth Phoenix defeat the Miz and Maryse by Pinfall
          Yeah, I didn't watch two seconds of this match and I couldn't give a fuck less about it.

Brock Lesnar Wins the men's Royal Rumble
          As soon as Lesnar lost the belt, the entire wrestling world knew he was going to win the Rumble. Everyone knew something was up when every betting site had Lesnar with the best odds to win the Rumble going into the event. This whole match sucked big balls. No special entrants, no cool moments, no wrestler really got a chance to genuinely shine.....it just sucked. The Rumble keeps getting almost unwatchable, no cool moments ever happen anymore. Remember when AJ Styles showed up an everyone lost their shit? I want that, I need that shit. Like I said there is nothing noteworthy from this match at all, it was shit, it was boring, it was awful.
