IT’S BACKKKKKKK! THEY SAY DON’T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS, SON OF A BITCH ITS BACK! by Patrick Tarnacki

     Eight years, eight fuckin years…..we’ve all been waiting for this game to come back and now its finally happening. There’s always been that one game you bought every year, good or bad you bought it and you played the ever loving shit out of it. For me that was NCAA Football and when they cancelled it, I’ll be honest a small piece of me died that day.
    
     Being a Notre Dame Football fan, it’s always been fun returning them to their future glory. I won Heisman Trophies with the likes of Matt Lovecchio and Brady Quinn(not to brag), I had Top 5, recruiting classes year in and year out and the top players in the country wanted to come to Notre Dame…..Just like the old days. It was incredible, a snowy or rainy day? Pop in some NCAA Football, win a Natty and call it a day.
    
     The game was put on a hiatus due to a lawsuit that was filed by former UCLA basketball player Ed O’Bannon then made even worse by a lawsuit filed by former Nebraska and Arizona State Quarterback Sam Keller. The lawsuits both basically state how it was wrong that the NCAA were capitalizing on players likeness for the game and the players were pissed about not getting any revenue from it. The lawsuits both were settled in 2014 but now in October of 2019, the payouts were reported to start coming out. Ever since then everyone has been waiting for this to happen and it finally has. EA is gonna see such a tremendous increase in sales from this game just due to the hiatus and I honestly think when it comes out it’s going to destroy Madden in sales. Unfortunately I’m going to have to buy a PS5 because the new game is only coming out for new consoles. Looks like it’s time to start looking for some deals.
