Just terrible….former 3 time pro bowler Vincent Jackson found dead at age 38…

     Absolutely terrible news coming out of the NFL Monday night, Former NFL wide receiver Vincent Jackson was found dead Monday in a Florida hotel room, according to The Hillsborough County (Florida) Sheriff's Office.(via ESPN). Jackson was found approximately at 11:30 am on Monday in his hotel room at The Homewood Suites in Brandon,Florida. According to the staff at the Hotel, Jackson checked in on January 11th of this year and had been staying there since then. Jackson’s family reportedly filed a missing persons report on Thursday, then was cancelled after they knew Jackson was ok.
     Jackson was a three time pro bowl wideout, who spent his twelve NFL seasons with the Chargers and Buccaneers. Jackson had 6, 1,000 yard receiving seasons and was an absolute terror to cover at 6’5 and weighing 241 pounds. His big seasons came for the Bucs in 2012, where Jackson had 72 catches for 1,384 yards and 8 touchdowns. One of the most underrated receivers of the last 10 years in my opinion, Jackson had a great career and at 38 is gone far too soon. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jackson’s family and friends during this terrible time.
