Back in 2016 Travis Rudolph was a stud wide-out for the National Champion Florida State Seminoles. Rudolph was at a school for community service program when he noticed a young boy eating lunch by himself, at this time Rudolph decided to sit with the young kid and eat lunch with him. The boy was Bo Paske, a 6th grader with autism who normally ate lunch alone, but on this day Rudolph made sure he didn't have to eat lunch alone. A picture was taken of the moment and immediate went viral and America sure did love Travis Rudolph. Now 5 years later, things sure have changed for the former National Champion. On April 7th, Travis Rudolph was charged with 1st degree murder and attempted murder after an altercation in West Palm, Florida. According to Police reports and reported by ESPN, "Early Wednesday morning, West Palm Beach police responded to reports of shooting victims in both West Palm Beach and Lake Park, Florida. The male victim in West Palm Beach was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other male victim was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition. According to a probable cause affidavit posted to the Palm Beach County court website on Thursday, a man told police he had been with the victim who eventually died when Rudolph's girlfriend called, saying she had been in a physical altercation with Rudolph that night. The man told police he went with three others to Rudolph's residence unarmed, with the intent of speaking with Rudolph. Another altercation ensued between Rudolph, another person and the men in the car who had traveled to the residence. Multiple people told police that Rudolph entered his residence, came outside with a rifle and then fired shots at the car as it sped away. The car eventually stopped working because of the damage it had sustained, and one person inside was "slumped over and unresponsive." A witness stated that He saw Rudolph fighting with his girlfriend, then at one point a group of men who visited the residence. He then heard multiple gunshots then saw Rudolph return the house "holding a handgun" Just absolutely terrible shit, ya wanna believe this isn't true because of how much of a genuine good human being Rudolph has shown he can be, but I guess we'll have to leave that up to the findings of the detectives and see how this all plays out. Here is the video of Rudolph and Bo Paske below:
