The Chara Heartbreak by Edward Stefaniak

So, it happened. Zedno Chara scored an actual NHL goal against the Bruins. As a Bruins fan, that signing felt like my parents were getting divorced. I couldn’t imagine it, that pain of my family splitting up. But it did and I am feeling a bit better. Then, the first game against Washington hurt. It hurt a lot. He just does not look right in that jersey. But nothing special happened and the Bruins lost. But on February 1st, the year of our Lord 2021, my nightmare came true: my dad came home with his bitch of a new girlfriend to introduce to me. That bitch? The Washington fucking Capitals. Then that BITCH slapped me as hard as she could by letting Chara score. Why do the Hockey Gods hate me?!? First the Blackhawks, then the Blues, now the Capitals! This hurts. I am at least glad to see that the Bruins, in this strange but relevant metaphor… my mother, is doing well without him. But God damn I miss Dad.
