Thank Christ I am a Boston fan because seeing where the Sabres are at is just depressing. This team literally makes me lose love for the game, AND I FUCKING HATE THEM. But god damn Jack Eichel deserves better. He is such a talented player, and an emotional player that seeing him rot away in Buffalo is just sad. Now frankly most of my Sabres knowledge comes from my friend Pat, and he is not happy right now. I don’t blame him either. Sabres fans are easily the most dedicated in the league. Buffalo as a city doesn’t have much. A few bars and good wings at most, and the Pegula’s are draining the life from the Sabres. They got the Bills right by being hands off, but the Sabres? The Sabres, they are so hands on they are basically choking the team to death. Seriously, why is Kim Pegula the President of Hockey Operations? That is a role that is usually saved for a retired star. What does she know about hockey? She is a business woman for christ sakes! You need to let the players work their way into the front office. Now onto Ralph Kruger, do I believe any of this is his fault? No. But a coach has a shelf life, and his is expired in Buffalo. Frankly the team is on life support due to him making quick fixes like health bombing Dylan Cozens for Kyle Okposo. A Kyle Okposo who hasn’t contributed anything to the game of hockey since leaving John Tavares’ side. What he is doing to Jack Eichel by not giving him steady linemates is disgusting. How do you expect to build chemistry with anyone when you don’t know your lineup until puck drop. The Sabres have a lot of work to do, it’s time to blow this shit up and start from the front offices down. All teams with success right now have fingerprints of a former GM who spent some significant time with their team. Buffalo pulls the trigger way too fast on firing GM’s giving them no chance to form a plan. The Pegula’s are like me on a diet, no results after 3 days so I give up. There needs to be a coup in Buffalo to get the Pegula’s out, and soon. I just can’t stand seeing Pat cry in front of the TV anymore.
